Popular Malaysian singer has died from Covid-19, just days after giving birth to a baby boy – her fourth child. A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State says Rivers State Government should collect Valued Added Tax (VAT) and Personal Income Tax (PIT) and not the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS). The court, presided over by Justice Stephen Dalyop Pam, has also issued an order of perpetual injunction restraining the Federal Inland Revenue Service and the Attorney General of the federation, both first and second defendants in the suit, from collecting, demanding, threatening and intimidating residents of Rivers State to pay to FIRS, personnel income tax and Value Added Tax. Gunmen have reportedly killed four policemen in Nnewi Area command, Anambra state. The attack which was reportedly carried out on Monday by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), lasted for more than an hour. According to reports, the assailants invaded the police station in seven vehicles and engaged the policemen there in a fierce gunbattle. Bandits have abducted a Swiss national, Andred Beita, and his driver, simply identified as Ifeanyi, in Ogun state. The Ogun state police command confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred along the Ibese-Itori Road on Saturday. At least five people have been confirmed dead after a Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) patrol vehicle rammed into passersby in Kaduna state. The unfortunate incident happened in the early hours of Monday morning in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina state. The Katsina state police command confirmed the incident. Argentine striker, Sergio Kun Aguero will be out of action for ten weeks due to an injury on his right calf. This was disclosed by Barcelona FC who added that preliminary tests have confirmed that the striker has a tendon injury.
