A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State says Rivers State Government should collect Valued Added Tax (VAT) and Personal Income Tax (PIT) and not the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS). Gunmen have reportedly killed four policemen in Nnewi Area command, Anambra state. The attack which was reportedly carried out on Monday by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), lasted for more than an hour. At least five people have been confirmed dead after a Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) patrol vehicle rammed into passersby in Kaduna state.
