Veteran musician Yinka Ayefele’s radio station manager, David Ajiboye is dead. Ajiboye died on Sunday after a brief sickness in a hospital in Ibadan. Until his death, Ajiboye managed Yinka Ayefele’s radio station, Fresh FM 106.9. Ajiboye was a journalist before he joined Merry Makers band many years ago. His death was confirmed by Mr Samson Akindele, a member of Fresh FM management. A group of armed bandits have abducted a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Niger state, Malam Aminu Bobi. Malam Bobi who is the Zone C chairman of APC was kidnapped in Mariga Local Government Area of the state. The elder statesman was abducted by the bandits on his farm on Saturday. Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged President Muhammadu Buhari “to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Mr Abubakar Malami, SAN, and appropriate anti-corruption agencies to investigate the reported spending of over ₦880bn of public funds by 367 ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) in 2018 without appropriation.” SERAP said: “Any such investigation should establish whether public funds have been mismanaged, diverted or stolen.
