    Nigerian man, Bright Ben laments after “Holy Spirit” instructed pastor to marry his wife

    A Nigerian man, Bright Ben, has cried out after his church pastor, Moses Adeeyo married his wife, Tina Ben, following an instruction from the “Holy Spirit”.

    Mr Ben shared his story on his Facebook page with pictures of his wedding to his wife and that of their two children.

    Although family members of his wife has claimed that they were never married because he did not pay her dowry, Bright Ben has disagreed telling his story to the world.

    “I’ve been married to Mrs Tina Bright for over 12 years with two kids, a girl and a boy. I married her traditionally and white wedding and took her to introduce to my Pastor Moses Adeeyo,” he said on his Facebook page.

    He explained that Pastor Adeeyo is the general overseer of his church. “The General Overseer of Word Bank Assembly in Eneka, Obio/Akpor LGA Rivers State. We started attending the church and became full financial members,” he added.

    “My wife was given an immediate appointment seven months ago, so she moved out of the house with our two kids before I got back from work. I searched everywhere and called everyone even the general overseer unknown to me that he was the architect of my problems,” he said.

    “After sometime he stopped picking my calls and blocked my phone line. I have been looking for her until I saw these pictures yesterday online,” referring to the picture of the wedding ceremony between Pastor Adeeyo and his wife, Tina.

    “He claimed that the Holy Spirit told him that she is his wife. Is the Holy Spirit the author of confusion? My wife of 12 years is now his. Please couples be careful in Word Bank Assembly, be careful of Pastor Moses Adeeyo,” the said in his post.

    Meanwhile, the son of Pastor Adeeyo has also taken to Facebook to explain that his mother has not been divorced and that the case is in court.

    “Media please take note, my mother Mercy Adeeyo has not been divorced by my father, Pastor Moses Adeeyo. No settlement yet and the matter is still in court,” he said.

    He added that, “Tina Adeeyo is now the second wife while my mother is the first wife.”

    Meanwhile, the Elizabeth Okonkwo, the sister of Tina is making a case for her. “My brothers and sisters the person in question is my elder sister, she is no longer married to Mr Bright, they even went to the village to do the proper returning of dowry but it is unfortunate that Mr Bright did not pay the dowry and my elder sister made it clear to the elders, sisters and uncles that she is no longer interested in the marriage.

    “If you know the story you will shed tears for her, she is now married traditionally and also in the sight of God and everyone in the family is happy,” she explained.
