A Magistrate’s Court in Ibadan, which is hearing the police’s claims against skit maker Abdullahi Adisa, also known as Trinity Guy, has ordered that he be held in the Agodi correctional facility until next month.

The police accused Trinity Guy in court for allegedly sexualizing a youngster in a popular 38-second video in which he requested a female minor to identify his genitals.

Oludare Adebayo, the suspect’s lawyer, had begged with the court to let his client go.

However, the magistrate judge, P.O. Adetuyibi, rejected his plea on the grounds that a case has been opened in the government office that is looking at the justice system based in Oyo State regarding the suspect.

The court also ordered that the mother and father of the ten-year-old child that appears in a viral video with Trinity Guy be detained in prison.

The skit maker earlier said that he had an agreement with the minor’s parents before shooting the skit.
