A 47-year-old man, Mark Agbor, has been arraigned over alleged impersonation and unauthorised access to restricted areas at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMA), Lagos, after reportedly advertising a military combat helicopter for sale on social media.
Agbor allegedly uploaded a video claiming ownership of two military combat helicopters and offering one of them to potential buyers.
The case has been adjourned until November 18, 2026.
The spokesperson for the Airport Police Command, Adeola Mohammed, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday.
Mohammed said Agbor, an employee of Pathfinders International Limited, was handed over to the command’s International Division by the Provost Investigation Unit of the Nigerian Air Force in Ikeja for further investigation and necessary action.
According to the police, investigations revealed that the suspect uploaded the video on October 7, 2026, presenting himself as the owner of the two military helicopters and seeking buyers for one of the aircraft.
Following the conclusion of the investigation, the police said Agbor was arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction.

The Commissioner of Police, Airport Police Command, Olufunke Ogunbode, said the alleged conduct raised serious security concerns and could undermine the operations of security agencies.
She assured the public that the case would be handled in accordance with the law and commended the Nigerian Air Force for its cooperation with the command.
Ogunbode said the case highlighted the importance of collaboration among security agencies in addressing potential threats to airport security.
She also urged companies and other stakeholders operating within the airport environment to strengthen employee screening, vetting and background checks to minimise the risk of security breaches.
The command reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, inter-agency cooperation and the protection of lives and critical national infrastructure.
