The Kano State Hisbah Board’s directive to residents of other religions who are not observing this Ramadan fast to refrain from eating openly has been described as a negation of the doctrines of Islam. The House of Representatives has called on President Bola Tinubu to expedite the investigation of the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu. President Bola Tinubu has ordered the reopening of Nigeria’s land and air borders with the Republic of Niger.  Tinubu also directed the lifting of other sanctions imposed on the Republic of Niger by the Federal Government.
