A South Korean court sentenced Squid Game actor O. Yeong-Su to eight months of suspended prison for sexual misconduct. The 79-year-old was charged in 2022 with sexually abusing a lady twice. No fewer than eight migrants have drowned after a boat carrying them capsized off the Turkish coast in the Aegean Sea, the local governor’s office said on Friday. The nationalities of the eight migrants were still to be determined. According to officials, the Turkish coastguard rescued two people, while another two made it out of the water on their own. The boat capsized off Turkey’s largest island, Gokceada, or Imbros, which is off the coast of the northern province of Canakkale. Officials stated that the search and rescue operation was underway. Troops attached to the 6th Brigade of the Nigerian Army neutralized two terrorists and recovered weapons in a recent operation in the Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State. This was announced in a statement by the Nigerian Army on Friday. No fewer than three kidnapped victims have been rescued and eight bodies were recovered on Wednesday by Army troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army and Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke in Taraba State.
