Six people have been killed by bandits who once again invaded the Takanai community in the Atyap Chiefdom in Kaduna State’s Zango Kataf Local Government Area. The incident was reported to journalists by Samson Markus, Acting Secretary to the District Head of the affected community, while the Kaduna State Police Command spokesperson was unavailable for comment. Ukrainian football teams will boycott all competitions featuring Russian sides, their federation said on Wednesday in response to UEFA re-admitting Russia’s youth team to international competition. “The UAF confirms that it will not take part in any competitions involving Russian teams,” it said. A coroner inquest into the death of late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, will commence on Friday, September 29, at the Ikorodu Magistrate Court in Lagos. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) will go on indefinite strike on Tuesday, October 3.
