The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has closed a number of plazas around Tejuosho Market in Yaba due to several environmental violations, including illegal disposal of rubbish and trading operations that impede traffic flow. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), according to Mr. Adewale Adeniyi, Acting Comptroller-General (CG), has surpassed its income goal for the months of July and August. Barcelona announced post-tax profits for the 2022–2023 season on Thursday, which came in higher than expected for the Spanish powerhouses looking to shore up their finances. The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kaduna has pronounced the Kaduna state governorship election in 2023 inconclusive. In a split decision  of ratio 2:1 margin on Thursday, the 3-man tribunal panel ruled the election to be inconclusive and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold a rerun within ninety days.
