National Assemly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Enugu has dismissed a petition filed by Senator Chimaroke Nnamani of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, disputing the election of Senator Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party. Police rescue man from attempted suicide over N1m debt

Men of the Rivers State Police Command have arrested one of the suspects linked to the killing of Mr Bako Angbashim.
