The Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Cross River State dismissed on Tuesday the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Sandy Onor, challenging the election of Bassey Otu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has restrained the Ondo State House of Assembly from impeaching the Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for alleged gross misconduct.
