Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a wanted drug dealer while he was worshiping in his local church. The suspect, Stephen Afam Ikeanyionwu, was wanted for attempting to export 69.65 kilograms of cocaine, heroin and cannabis to the United Kingdom (UK). According to the NDLEA, Stephen tried to smuggle the banned substances through (National Aviation Handling Company) NAHCO export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos. Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom has denounced the gruesome murder of two pastors in the state. Fifteen students of Bethel Baptist School, Kaduna have been freed by their captors on Saturday night. Two months ago, 121 students of the school were abducted. They were kidnapped in the early hours of July 5, 2021 around 2am at the school premises along the Kaduna-Kachia highway, Damishi, in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. A group of heavily armed men have abducted the district head of Adbka community in Zamfara state. An arms dealer has been arrested with 320 bullets and 53 magazines in Nasarawa state on his way to Jos, Plateau state. He was in possession of one motorcycle and N38,500 at the time of his arrest.
