Femi Osibona, owner of collapsed building in Ikoyi

The owner of the 21-storey building which collapsed in Ikoyi on Monday afternoon, has been found dead. Femi Osibona’s death was confirmed by renowned journalist Dele Momodu who posted the news on his Instagram handle on Thursday evening. Osibona’s body was recovered from the rubble on Thursday evening after three days of intensive search and rescue operations. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has declared three days of mourning over the Ikoyi building collapse, which occurred on Monday. So far, more than 32 bodies have been pulled out of the rubble.
