A woman identified as Memunat Salaudeen has been arrested by the police for masterminding the abduction of her husband in Ogun state. It was gathered that Salaudeen, who is a housewife, hired three men – Olayinka Lawal, Asungba Nura and Usman Oluwatoyin, to kidnap her husband. An Indian man, Nitheshi Kumar, has been arraigned before a Lagos Federal High Court, for allegedly vandalized some electric cables at the Dangote Petrochemical and Oil Refinery Project, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos has sentenced a lawyer, Kenneth Chukwuemeka Ajoku, to seven years imprisonment for offences bordering on perjury and fabrication of evidence brought against him by the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
