Victor Osimhen maintained his outstanding scoring streak, guiding Galatasaray to a 3-1 victory over Göztepe at the RAMS Park on Sunday.

Efkan Bekiroğlu startled the home supporters by giving Göztepe the lead after only six minutes.

Galatasaray’s Osimhen equalized in the 19th minute after a defensive error.

It was the Nigerian international’s third league goal this season.

The 26-year-old has now scored three goals in his previous three games for the Yellow and Reds.

Galatasaray’s other goals came in the second half, from Gabriel Sara and Mauro Icardi.

The win keeps Galatasaray at the top of the Super Lig standings with 28 points, five ahead of Trabzonspor, while Göztepe is in fifth place with 16 points after suffering only their second defeat of the season.
