The Rivers State Police Command verified that two distinct explosions happened across the state on Saturday.  According to reports, the first explosion occurred at the All Progressives Congress Secretariat on Aba Road, while the second struck the Obio/Akpor Local Government Secretariat just outside Port Harcourt. Grace Iringe-Koko, spokesperson for the State Police Command, indicated in a press release that the two explosions occurred virtually simultaneously. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has refuted claims that he advised Christians to stop paying tithes. The All Progressives Congress’ (APC) secretariat on Aba Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State’s capital, has been rattled by an explosion in the early hours of Saturday. The explosion brought down the secretariat’s gate, destroying doors, windows, and other property. This is the second time this year that the APC, led by Chief Tony Okocha, has faced an attack on its secretariat. The Bosnian Football Association (NFSBIH) has postponed all matches in its affiliated competitions following the deaths of 19 people in the country due to floods and landslides.  The decision was made at an emergency meeting as torrential rains and landslides wrecked homes, roads, and bridges and searches for missing individuals continued. “After today’s emergency session… a state of natural calamity caused by floods and landslides in Bosnia and Herzegovina was declared,” the NFSBIH said on Friday. Flash floods and landslides in central Bosnia-Herzegovina have killed at least 19 people, cutting off towns and villages and submerging homes in some areas.  Some of the worst incidents occurred at Jablanica, a town on the main route between Mostar and Sarajevo, roughly 70 kilometres (40 miles) to the northeast. Tensions are rising between Russia and Ukraine, with both nations exchanging angry words over suspicions of intervention in Nigeria’s domestic affairs.  On Friday, the Russian government issued a harsh warning to the US, Ukraine, and the UK for accusing it of financing protests in Nigeria.
