A bus transporting Pakistani pilgrims toppled in Iran, killing at least 28 people, according to Iranian official television.  According to Reuters, the collision occurred on Tuesday night in Yazd, central Iran, and was caused by a malfunctioning braking system. The province’s crisis management director informed state television that another 23 people were hurt; seven of them were critically injured. Missing Russian plane crashes with no survivors

A small plane crashed in a West Texas neighbourhood on Tuesday, killing the pilot and a passenger and igniting a big fire on the ground that injured a lady, authorities said.  Witnesses reported the jet struggled to gain altitude after taking off from an Odessa airfield, then collided with a power line before landing in an alley around 7 a.m., according to officials.
