Yoruba men have been described as chronic bleachers and utilizers of bleaching cream by a social media influencer.  Simply identified as Naija Farmer, the influencer, known for giving herbal health tips, berated men from the southwestern part of the country for allegedly bleaching their skin. The police have apprehended a soldier identified as PTE Suleiman Sadiq for allegedly injuring a divisional police officer, DSP Morufu Keji, serving in the Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State. According to reports, the soldier said to be serving at Sector 3 Garrison, Mongunu, Maiduguri, Borno State, had reported a land dispute to the police at Sinawu town near Ilesha-Baruba but later became unruly and attacked the Divisional Crime Officer, Okeowo Joel, and Keji at the station. The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) has suffered a backlash from Nigerians over the alleged nonchalance of doctors towards patients.  In severe comments on X on Friday, Nigerians lamented the ordeals at the hands of doctors in the teaching hospital, which at different times led to the deaths of their loved ones. No fewer than seven people have been killed by bandits in Yongia Uambie Tiev, Ukembrergya/Tswarev ward, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State. Anawah Joseph, a community leader, said the incident occurred between Tuesday and Wednesday. A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that Bello Bodejo, leader of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore group, be kept in DIA custody. The remand order was issued following his Friday arraignment by Justice Inyang Ekwo. Bodejo was detained on January 23 at the Miyetti Allah headquarters in Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, for revealing the existence of a vigilante organisation.
