Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed has suspended the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, after he was arrested for fraud. A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, has convicted and sentenced an undergraduate of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State, Gbadamosi Joseph Adebayo to six months imprisonment for internet fraud. A knight of Catholic Church, Sir Basil Okafor and his cousin, Edwin Okwuchukwu Izuchukwu, were on Wednesday docked by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), before a Lagos Federal High Court, on charges bordering on conspiracy, unlawful possession of 2. 169 kilograms of heroin.
