The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), has released a report that shows that Nigeria and six other countries declined in oil production. The report also showed that six of its member countries increased their crude oil output. The OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) for May 2022 showed that crude oil output increased in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Angola, Algeria and Congo, while production in Libya, Nigeria, Iraq, Gabon, Venezuela, Iran and Equatorial Guinea declined. Nigeria’s inflation rate has reached 17.71 per cent, according to latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In a report released on Wednesday, the NBS revealed that the rate surged to 17.71 per cent in May 2022. The first flight due to take asylum seekers from the UK to Rwanda was cancelled minutes before take-off after legal rulings on Tuesday evening. Up to seven people had been expected to be removed to the east African country. But the flight was stopped after a late intervention from the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) led to fresh challenges in the UK courts. Aderibigbe, a member of a syndicate operating in the United States, specialises in stealing of United States citizens’ data to obtain fraudulent tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service, IRS.
