Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has apprehended 19 additional vehicles due to the continuous perennial traffic gridlock usually experienced around Apongbon inwards and outwards Lagos Island, caused by indiscriminate illegal parking of vehicles, garages and parks. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has announced 14 deaths in 10 states from suspected cases of yellow fever between January to July 2022. The NCDC provide the update on Sunday via its official website. It said the affected states included Abia (one), Bayelsa (one), Benue (one), Imo (one), Kaduna (one), Katsina (two), Kebbi (one), Taraba (two), Yobe (one) and Zamfara (three). The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has offered to submit itself for forensic audit of fuel supply and subsidy management, insisting that daily fuel supply is 68 million litres. The NNPC disclosed this on Sunday in a statement signed by Malam Garba Muhammad, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC. Muhammad said between January and August 2022, the total volume of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) imported into the country was 16.46 billion litres, which translated to an average supply of 68 million litres per day.
