Lagos Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi has recovered from coronavirus after testing negative. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, disclosed this in a statement. He said Abayomi retook the test on Sunday and the result turned negative. Omotoso said his Health counterpart will resume duties gradually. The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State following a request to nullify the results by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and its candidate, Natasha Akpoti. The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has faulted the Senate’s call for memoranda on review of the 1999 Constitution, claiming that it is of no value and a predictable waste of time, resources and energy of Nigeria. President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden have clashed over the violence that has erupted at protests in Portland, Oregon.
