The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 143 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday. The 143 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 54,008. India’s former president Pranab Mukherjee has died 21 days after it was confirmed that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The 84-year-old was in hospital to remove a clot in his brain when it was discovered he also had Covid-19.
