Children can carry coronavirus in their noses for up to three weeks, according to a study from South Korea. Earlier studies have found the vast majority of children with the virus have mild or no symptoms. But these findings shed light on the unresolved question of how likely children are to spread the virus to others. Last week Thursday, members of Association of Cable Operators of Nigeria (ACON) visited the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Network Centre in Port Harcourt to, according to them, show appreciation to Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. US actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther in the hit Marvel superhero franchise, has died of cancer aged 43. Japanese PM Shinzo Abe has announced his resignation for health reasons. He said he did not want his illness to get in the way of decision making, and apologised to the Japanese people for failing to complete his term in office. Jacob Blake, the black man shot in the back by police in the US state of Wisconsin, has reportedly been released from handcuffs while in hospital. Police in Kenosha had said that Mr Blake was in custody for previous warrants and the handcuffs were policy. His attorney told US media that these warrants had been cancelled and that officers guarding Mr Blake had left.
