Pigeons are released as a tradition in commemoration of Armed Forces Remembrance Day. However, the pigeons released by President Muhammadu Buhari refused to fly. President Buhari was seen making multiple attempts to release the birds but they resisted and ended up sitting on the cage. A woman who died after falling into a river in eastern India was caught on camera taking selfies on a rock moments before she lost her balance and plunged into the raging torrent. The video shows the woman, who has since been named as Nirupama Prajapati, happily taking photographs by the river in Kanakund in the Oshida district in western India. Prajapati plunged into the river and was swept away by the raging torrent and eventually carried over a waterfall before her body was found down river.
