Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has denied allegations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), that he collected $1.1 million bribe to arrest a colleague of the embattled international cyber criminal, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas aka Hushpuppi. According to the FBI, the funds used for the bribe were proceeds which Hushpuppi had stolen from a Qatari school-owner among many other victims across the world. Blessing Okagbare has blamed the Athletics Federation of Nigeria for the unfortunate disqualification of some members of the Nigerian Olympics team. The leader of Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force (NDPSF), Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has asked Biafra agitators to stop claiming the name as it originated from the Ijaw entity. The Ijaw are a tribe of people in Bayelsa, Delta, and other states in the South-South.
