The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has described as fake the ongoing scam on Facebook, a social media​ account, calling for candidates desirous of upgrade of scores in the 2017 Unified Tertiary matriculation Examination (UTME) to come forward. The Board dissociated itself from a statement to that effect purportedly signed by the Registrar of JAMB, Is-haq Oloyede, a professor.
