Malam Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director (GMD), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says the corporation has begun repair of its damaged Abura Crude Trunk line. The Abura Crude Trunk line at Otu-Jeremi town in Delta experienced an eruption on Friday. Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, says more than N200 million is saved in the account of the state Health Trust Fund monthly, set up to enhance healthcare services. Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, on Saturday, inaugurated road and bridge projects worth N288 million in Kanya village of Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of the state. President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Japan after participating in the seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development in the country. The 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) ended on Friday, 30th August.  According to the president’s New Media aide, Bashir Ahmad, Buhari departed Yokohama, Japan for Abuja on Saturday. The minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Friday directed officials of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS ) to exploit every capacity within the service to ensure issuance of international passports to genuine and qualified applicants within 48 hours. The Minister disclosed this  in Lagos while flagging off the NIS Management retreat.
