The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday re-arraigned Uyiekpen Giwa-Osagie, lawyer to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. The re-arraignment of Giwa-Osagie and his brother, Erhunse Giwa-Osagie became necessary as they are appearing before another judge, Professor Chuka Obiozor for the first time. Wazobia FM has apologised and retracted its story on the allegations made by Timi Frank that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo received N90 billion from FIRS as campaign funds for 2019 polls. A political group in Nigeria has described labour unions unrelenting attitude towards embarking on an industrial action over the proposed salary increase across board as unpatriotic, stressing that, dialogue should be the only way. Minister for Finance, Budget and National Planning, says under-recovery of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly referred to as fuel subsidy will gulp N450 billion in 2020. She said this on Monday in Abuja, at the public presentation of the 2020 budget proposals.
