The Federal Government has assured that the two Caverton Helicopters pilots arrested by the Rivers State Government will be released soon. It also said the pilots were on national assignment when the arrest was made. The Grand Patron of Ekiti State COVID-19 Response Resource Mobilisation Committee, Aare Afe Babalola (SAN), has donated N100 million naira and 800 bags of rice to support Ekiti State Government’s efforts against the coronavirus pandemic. The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of seven coronavirus patients in the state after they tested negative twice to the virus. This takes the total number of persons discharged to 58 in Nigeria. Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state on Friday has disclosed that three family members of a medical doctor who died of coronavirus in the state have tested positive for the virus. On Tuesday, Dr. Aminu Yakubu, a Daura based private Medical practitioner who recently returned from Lagos to Katsina died of coronavirus.
