President Muhammadu Buhari has indicated that he could extend the lockdown directive to other states in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The Ogun State Government has said that it has effected some arrests following robbery complaints by residents in many communities in the state. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the death of five coronavirus patients and 13 new cases in the country on Saturday. The NCDC said 13 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported; 11 in Lagos, one in Delta and one in Kano. “As at 9:30pm 11th April there are 318 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 70 have been discharged with 10 deaths,” NCDC said.
