The vigilante in Aiyetoro Kiri, Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi State, foiled an attack on the Kiri High School early on Wednesday by suspected bandits on the Kiri High School.

For clarity, we wish to state the following: The bandits attacked, but they were resisted and repelled by our security team.
Stray gunfire claimed the lives of one hunter and one resident. The Joint Task Force has stepped up activities to restore public trust in the area.
