President Bola Tinubu has sworn in the new Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Esther Walson-Jack into office.
The swearing-in took place prior to the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday at the State House Abuja.
Chronicle NG reported that Tinubu approved the appointment of Walson-Jack as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, on July 17, 2024.
Prior to her appointment, she was the permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.
She was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has served in several ministries.
A statement from the presidency said that Walson-Jack takes over from the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024.
