President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mr. Kolo Mele Kyari, following the death of his daughter, Fatima Kyari.

Fatima passed away on Friday at the age of 25 after a long battle with illness.

In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu conveyed his sympathy to Mr. Mele Kyari and his family, describing the loss as “irreparable and painful.”

“The President sympathizes with Kyari and the rest of the family on the irreparable and painful loss,” the statement read. “President Tinubu prays for the repose of the soul of Fatima and urges the Kyari family to stay strong at these trying times.”
