    Relive great sporting moments this week on GOtv

    As live sporting activities globally are suspended due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, sport fans do not need to worry as they can relive a host of great sporting highlights showing this week on GOtv.

    The highlights – which includes Athletics meet, Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League, Olympics and Wrestling classics – will be broadcast on SuperSport Select 1, 2 and 3 to GOtv Plus, Jolli and GOtv Max subscribers, and on SuperSport Select 4 and SuperSport Select 5 exclusive to GOtv Max subscribers.

    Viewers can re-watch legends such as Haile Gebrselassie of Ethiopia, Maria Mutola of Mozambique and Elana Meyer of South Africa among others showing their sporting prowess at the Olympics in Olympic Games Memories. The programme airs from 7:55am on 2 April on SuperSport Select 1.

    Live through again some of football’s best moments including goals, upsets and controversies in Football Countdown. It airs on 3 April from 6:30pm on SuperSport Select 1.

    Football fans can re-experience great recent matches from the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League on SuperSport Select 2. The 2019/2020 encounter between Barcelona and Eibar will be shown on 2 April at 9am, while the thriller between England’s Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich of Germany will be broadcast on the same day at 6pm.

    The incredible comeback at Anfield will take centre stage on SuperSport Select 2 when the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League semi-final game between Liverpool and Barcelona is aired on 3 April at 2pm. In the same vein, highlights of the 2004/2005 UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool and AC Milan, dubbed the “Miracle of Istanbul”, will be broadcast on the same channel at 10pm.

    SuperSport Select 3 is the home of old-time football classics. On viewers’ screens will be a fierce Madrid Derby between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in La Liga on 2 April at 9pm. Another big-time classic, the 2016/2017 FA Cup final involving London rivals, Arsenal and Chelsea, will pop up on viewers’ screens on 3 April at 6:30am.

    Also on offer are documentaries, analysis and reviews of football in England, particularly the Premier League, on SuperSport Select 4. Highlights of the 2009/2010 Premier League season will be shown in PLTV: Review of the Season, which airs on 2 April at 7am. Similarly, highlights of the 2018/2019 Premier League season will be broadcast on 3 April at 8pm.

    Wrestling fans have a whole of content to look up to on SuperSport Select 5. The search for the whereabouts of Kelly Kelly and MVP takes a whole new level in WWE Where Are They Now? The programme will air on 2 April at 11:35pm. Also, some of the biggest names in Wrestling fight to protect their name and enhance their reputation in Survivor Series 2019, which shows on WWE Day Of. It airs on 3 April at 6:10pm.
