Former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola and former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi were among prominent Nigerians who attended the funeral service for Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun.
The funeral service was held on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, Trinity Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Anthony, a businessman, died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 62, according to a family statement signed by Rev. C. A. Adeosun.
The family described him as a committed Christian who positively influenced the lives of those around him.
Osinbajo attended the service with his wife, while other dignitaries joined family members, friends and associates to pay their final respects to the deceased.
