No DNA: Nigerians urge Cubana Chiefpriest to accept child with estranged lover

Celebrity barman Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cuban Chiefpriest, has been accused of abandoning a child bore him by an alleged Kenyan lover.

According to Gistlover, in 2023, Cubana ChiefPriest had an affair with a Kenyan woman, impregnated her, and cut her off.

Describing it as cheap ”blackmail,” Cubana Chiefpriest allegedly urged Gistlover to pay for a DNA test to ascertain the child is his, saying he will double the cost of the test if the test proves the child is his.

However, two years later, the child is grown, and Nigerians believe the child looks almost exactly like Cubana Chiefpriest.

However, the Kenyan lady has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the celebrity barman in a US court because Nigerian courts and authorities, according to her lawyer, ”have no integrity and can sway the case to favour the highest bidder.”

Speaking through her lawyer, she said she met Cubana Chiefpriest during her short trip to Lagos. He asked for unprotected sex,  which she reportedly declined.

However, he allegedly convinced her, saying he was looking for a female child.

According to reports, when she got pregnant and told him, he first told her to abort the pregnancy and subsequently blocked her.

She claimed she reached out to Cubana Chiefpriest through her lawyers, but he denied the pregnancy and also denied knowing the lady.

Her legal team claim they brought evidence of the flight and accommodation he paid for her after he denied knowing her.

The lawyer said they may pursue it as a rape case since he said he doesn’t know her, but somehow she was impregnated by him.

When he asked for a DNA test, she claimed she couldn’t come to Nigeria for the test due to numerous threats she had received.

Reacting to the news, Nigerians are saying there is no need for a DNA test and that the child looks exactly like the businessman.

Reacting to the news, Uyi Samuel said, ”If the accusations were two years ago and the child has grown to this resemblance, then there are elements of truth.”

”This striking resemblance is far from coincidence. It seems more like an own goal,” VG Vic said.

”The baby even looks more like him than his legitimate sons,” Rony stated in a statement on X.

In his reaction, Chuks Eric said, ”Being impregnated by a man who doesn’t want a child with you is one of the most self-destructive things any woman can do on earth.

”It’s unfair to your child to allow a man who doesn’t care about being a father to your child to sleep with you without protection.

”If he’s doing it without protection, then he would be foolish to claim he doesn’t want a child.”
