The French superstar did not exercise with his teammates on Tuesday in preparation for the encounter, but coach Carlo Ancelotti indicated that the striker will still travel to San Sebastian.
Mbappé is Madrid’s leading scorer this season, with 28 goals in 39 games in all competitions.
Fede Valverde and Thibaut Courtois were both left out of the traveling group while they recuperate from minor fitness difficulties.
Meanwhile, England international Jude Bellingham has returned to the squad after missing Sunday’s La Liga victory against Girona due to suspension.
