    LASTMA officer Abdulwahab Lawal bags Rotary award

    Abdulwahab Lawal, an officer with the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, bagged the Rotary Club of Lagos Peace Award in recognition of his sterling qualities and devotion to duty.

    Lawal was bestowed the award on Wednesday at the Boat Club, Ikoyi, Lagos by the Rotary President, Babawale Agbeyangi.

    His contribution to ensuring smooth and seamless flow of traffic has caught the eye of many.

    The officer was supported by LASTMA Commander, Zebra and colleagues during the award ceremony.

    LASTMA is a traffic management agency in Lagos state, Nigeria, that was created by the former governor of the state, Asiwau Bola Tinubu, in July, 2000 to help maintain the level of sanity on Lagos major roads.
