Curtis Jones is set to sign with Inter Milan after the Italian club reached an agreement of 35m euros (£30m) with Liverpool.
The Reds have agreed to a deal totaling €30m euros (£25.7m) plus €5m euros (£4.3m) in bonuses for the midfielder.
Jones, 25, is set to fly to Italy on Thursday for a medical examination. The transfer agreement incorporates a 10% sell-on provision for Liverpool.
In June, Liverpool dismissed a verbal bid of 25m euros (£21.7m) from the Serie A champions, as the Premier League club assessed the 25-year-old, who had a year remaining on his contract, at approximately £35m.
Recently, Liverpool indicated that a deal similar to the £30m package Inter paid Tottenham for Djed Spence would likely be reached.
In January, Inter Milan expressed interest in Jones and suggested a loan with an option to buy, but Liverpool rejected the offer.
Since debuting under Jurgen Klopp in 2019, Jones has played in 228 matches for Liverpool.
In the previous season, he appeared 49 times across all competitions but only had 18 starts in the Premier League and faced challenges in establishing a consistent starting position in midfield under Arne Slot.
Jones, who entered Liverpool’s academy at nine, is believed to be eager for a new challenge and would become the third English player to sign with Inter this summer, following John Stones and Spence.
