Bolaji Tunji, the media aide to Senator Abiola Ajimobi has dismissed rumours that the former Oyo state governor has died from COVID-19 complications.
Mr Tunji’s reaction comes after some little known blogs and social media was awash with the news of his death on Thursday.
They claimed the former governor who has been battling COVID-19 is not dead despite his worsening medical condition.
Ajimobi who is the deputy national chairman South was recently appointed as acting national chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party on Wednesday.
He has since been represented by National Vice Chairman of the party, Prince Hilliard Etta, who has since inaugurated APC Edo election committee and election appeal committee.
