The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ’s Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has cautioned about the unguarded use of social media.

Pastor Giwa disclosed that evil spirits now controls the social web, hence the propagation of negative vices.

Addressing his followers in Akure on Sunday, the clergyman lamented that youths are currently using the social web for their personal benefits.

According to Pastor Giwa: “Christ said go ye into the world and preach the gospel and part of the world today is social web which can be categorized as a tool used to propagate the word of God.

“But it’s unfortunate today that most of our youths are using the social media to benefit themselves, they are not using it to propagate the true world of God as instructed by Jesus Christ.

“You will see some married women on TikTok and Facebook exposing their bodies, are they propagating the word of God?

“No, they are just advertising themselves to the world. She can be in the bathroom or toilet and would take photos and send them on social media.

“Social media is being controlled by evil spirit and anything you can’t control is dangerous. The use of social media among the youths today is horrible that they don’t use it to propagate the gospel but worldly things.

“Some people will post worldly songs on their page and a lot of people will have access to them, people you should have converted, God will ask you tomorrow.

“If you don’t use the social media platform to propagate the gospel, God will ask you tomorrow. Some people will have 5 million followers on their page, the question is what are you using the page for?

“Are you using the page to propagate the message of Jesus Christ or to destroy other people’s lives?”
