France netted four goals in the last 13 minutes, overturning a deficit to defeat Belgium in the Nations League, as Zinedine Zidane kept his unbeaten record as manager intact.
Dodi Lukebakio opened the scoring for Belgium, latching onto Romeo Lavia’s superb 60-yard through ball and then getting the better of France debutant goalkeeper Guillaume Restes.
France continued to press and finally drew level when Desire Doue’s low strike from outside the penalty area got past Maarten Vandevoordt, who was making his debut between the posts for Belgium.
Rayan Cherki then put them in front after being found by a cutback from fellow substitute Michael Olise.
Olise himself added two late goals, both assisted by Doue, continuing his impressive run of form for his national team.
The Bayern Munich player has now been directly involved in 17 goals across 16 appearances for France in 2026.
France lead Group A1 with 10 points from four matches, while Mark van Bommel’s Belgium sit third on six points.
Italy climbed to second in the group thanks to a 3-1 home victory over Turkey.
Gianluca Scamacca gave Roberto Mancini’s team the lead before Aral Simsir equalized.
Riccardo Calafiori headed Italy back in front, and Pio Esposito sealed the win.
