Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced the Nigerian leg of his 5ive tour, with shows scheduled to hold in Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu and Lagos.
The award-winning artiste made the announcement on Tuesday in a post on his official X handle.
Davido said the tour will begin in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, on October 26, before moving to Yola, Adamawa, on October 29. The train will then head to Enugu on November 1 and end with two shows in Lagos on November 9 and December 25.
According to Davido, returning home to perform after a successful North American tour is special to him.
“I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go — Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it home.
“After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began.
“My 5ive Tour Nigeria, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us,” he wrote.
The 5ive tour follows his series of sold-out concerts across the United States and Canada earlier in the year, where he performed songs from his Grammy-nominated album, Timeless.
Davido’s return to Nigeria is expected to attract massive crowds, as fans anticipate his energetic stage performances.
