The Nigerian police force has warned Nigerians against commenting “carelessly and sarcastically on social media.” The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, issued the warning in a statement on his X page on Monday. Adejobi warned Nigerians not to say what they cannot defend in court or when summoned by the police. Bandits abduct 39 residents on reconciliation mission in Zamfara

Olugbenga Olawore, a pastor from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was kidnapped along with other passengers on a 14-seater bus in Oyo State.  The clergyman and other passengers were kidnapped on Friday night near the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa Road.
