Kingsley Otti, a club bouncer, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command after reportedly stabbing a suspected hoodlum to death at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in the state’s Okota region. Nigerian human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has condemned the recent hike in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol. Adeyanju, in a statement on his X page on Wednesday, lamented over how Nigerians received the news of the hike in the price of the commodity without protesting. The Federal Government has urged Nigerians to seek formal approval before using the national anthem to avoid potential misuse or misinterpretation. Brazil’s Supreme Court has announced that it is lifting a ban on the social media network X, formerly known as Twitter.  In his judgement, Justice Alexandre de Moraes stated that he permitted the “immediate return” of X’s activity in the country after the company paid substantial fines and banned accounts accused of disseminating misinformation.
