Floods in Myanmar have killed at least 226 people in just over a week, according to state media, after Typhoon Yagi poured heavy rains to the country’s war-torn central provinces.  Around a third of Myanmar’s 55 million people are already in need of humanitarian help as a result of the ongoing turmoil sparked by a February 2021 coup in which the powerful military deposed Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi’s civilian administration. The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has released another version of the breakdown of the estimated price of petrol bought from the Dangote refinery. Chronicle NG earlier reported that in a statement on Monday morning, the NNPC gave a chart breakdown of the refined petrol product it bought from the refinery on Sunday, September 15. The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has closed Donald’s Fast Food, a business owned by Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, due to ongoing noise pollution and environmental infractions.  LASEPA closed the fast food business on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki 1 because it failed to comply with environmental regulations despite multiple warnings and abatement letters. Operatives of the Imo State Police Command on Sunday foiled an attack on the Njaba Divisional Headquarters by gunmen suspected to be affiliated with the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed militia, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
