Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has placed a curfew on two communities, Ilobu and Ifon, following a communal confrontation over a land issue. The curfew notification issued by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Hon. Kolapo Alimi, is intended to maintain peace and order in the area. President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria for the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly’s (UNGA) 78th session.
