The brake failure of the loaded truck led to an accident

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) today rescued one fatal accident victim who was trapped inside a mini commercial bus (korope) on Ojuelegba bridge, Lagos. The accident which occurred around 12:45 pm today between a 40ft container truck and commercial bus (korope) with registration no KTU 921YG had nine passengers die immediately. A preliminary investigation revealed that the 40ft container truck lost control while ascending the Ojuelegba bridge and fell on a fully loaded commercial bus (korope) while on the motion on Ojuelegba Bridge direct opposite Lagos Fire Service Station.
