The Federal Government has advised members of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) to call off their planned five-day strike. Sen. Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, issued the warning on Tuesday in Abuja, shortly after getting news of the planned strike from the NARD leadership. Motorists and commuters using the Asaba-Kwale-Warri Road in Delta State are currently experiencing difficulty connecting to their destinations due to the collapse of the road bridge.
