A man injured three police officers in Budapest late on Thursday with a knife, one of whom died in a hospital, police said in a statement on Friday. The suspect was trying to enter a flat in a Budapest apartment block when the police were called, police said. The price of household Kerosene, also known as cooking kerosene skyrocketed by over 100 per cent in one year. The latest data from the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics for November showed the average retail price of kerosene per litre rose by about 146 per cent from N441 in November 2021 to N1,083/litre in the corresponding period last year. Uganda has declared an end to an Ebola virus outbreak that emerged almost four months ago and claimed the lives of 55 people. “We have successfully controlled the Ebola outbreak in Uganda,” Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng said at a ceremony in the central district of Mubende where the disease was first detected in September.
